The Dungeons and Dragons Experience

For some extrange reason i was passing by youtube and found a nice documentary about Dungeons & Dragons, its sort of a demo, but its nice nonetheless:

For those of you that never played rpgs (BAD, SHAME ON YOU) this will be hilarious, just looking at grown people behaving like retards, for me, it brings really fond memories of times gone by.  I have ALWAYS been a fan of D&D, i would spend endless hours drawing maps, dungeons, weapons.. i even did my own miniatures and painted them for each a every one of my players! THAT is a good DM. Of the whole time I played D&D I usually played as the dungeon master, it was so mucha fun... a LOT of work... but what the hell, to look the faces of the players when you are telling a good story is priceless.

The longes game i DMed lasted for almost 2 years (real life time) my player went from a tender level 1 to level 15 more or less... i think.... And our longest session was 14 hours... o yes!, i gess its not THAT amazing compared to HARDCORE games... but its respectable nonetheless  

Anyway, yesterday i finished downloading i think ALL D&D books... almos 20 GB... to get some inspirations, vacations are coming so there might be some chance to clear the table, take the dice out of their forgoten boxes and play a little D&D... or at least thats what i hope for...

Por algun extraño motivo hoy estaba paseando por youtube y me encontre con un documental sobre Dungeons & Dragons, no esta completo porque solo es una muestra, pero igual es bien:

Para los que nunca jugaron rol (QUE MAL!, QUE VERGUENZA!) seguramente les parecera extremadamente gracioso ver a personas adultas comportarse como retardados... a mi me trae MUY gratos recuerdos. Yo SIEMPRE he sido fanatico de D&D, y la mayor parte del tiempo que he jugado he sido Dungeon Master y debo decir que REALMENTE extraño los buenos tiempos del "Rol de fin de semana".

El juego mas largo que jugue duró casi 2 años(de tiempo real), jugabamos una vez a la semana unas 7 horas en promedio, la sesion mas larga que jugamos duró exactamente 14 horas, supongo que es una cifra modesta comparada con jugadores EN SERIO, pero creo que es bastante respetable.

En esas epocas me pasaba interminables horas haciendo mapas, dibujando armas, inclusive hacía mis propias miniaturas y las pintaba para cada uno de mis jugadores... ESO es un buen DM.

Como sea, ultimamente se me ocurrio que talvez seria buena idea escribir un par de historias para posibles juegos, uno nunca sabe, talvez en las vacaciones haya tiempo pa jugar y mejor estar preparado. Asique mi miles y miles de libros en PDF ayudaran a la imaginacion je je...

Y ustedes???, jugaron/juegan/jugaran D&D??
